11/16/16 at 13:59Depending on the popular app game, The Angry Birds Film is clearly trying to repeat the success of 2014's The LEGO Movie, which took a well-known brand through line free of story and crafted a feature film around it. Regrettably, it cannot duplicate that formula well, and despite fleeting instants of entertainment, The Angry Birds Picture comes across as an empty viewing encounter that doesn't have much to offer - even for children.
